World Book Day

Blog Entry: 5th March 2021

Yesterday in celebration of world book day, We was able to gift some of our children a lovely book, hot chocolate, tea bag and a biscuit for them to enjoy at home with their families.

This poem by Jane Baskwell is just so lovely at summarizing the importance of reading stories:

Open a book
And you will find
People and Places of every kind;
Open a book
And you can be
Anything that you want to be;
Open a book
And you can share
Wondrous Worlds you find in there;
Open a book
And I will too
You read to me
And I'll read to you.
